Hotel Hampi International , hospet

Visited this hotel with my husband and child aged 13 for our trip to Hampi. Room good clean and spacious everything in there you need. Food excellent waiter was very good explaining what was spicey and helping our child order a meal which suited. Breakfast usual scrambled eggs toast jam enough to start your day. We arrived early off train and were given our rooms right away with breakfast. Breakfast had only a few choices, good coffee and chai. We hired a driver through the hotel to take us to Hampi for our explorations. The room was clean and comfortable with a mini fridge, nice shower, and a view of fields. Staying for a couple of nights whilst on a tour of Hampi, we arrived very tired yesterday after an 8 hour train ride across India, so we just needed to sleep I slept very well to be fair but wasn’t that happy about the general cleanliness. Dirty headboard. Tv remotes not that clean etc. We got up for breakfast that must have been part of the package because we were served a very small amount and not offered anything else. I was disappointed by the quality of the room here. There was a spot on the bedsheet and I called service to have it changed. The bathroom had a smell and the terrace was dusty with cigarette buts. Overall the room was ok. The service was ok also. On the positive side, the breakfast was very good. I had dinners at the restaurant for two nights and the food was good for both nights. Overall I would give it three star. Not wroth the money spent.
