City center, great hotel!!

by Rob C on 25 Nov 2016 (Solo Traveller)

I took a train/bus combo from Brussels and walked to the property in the town center. Everything is very close as Bastogne is small! I also did some research beforehand so I knew there would be no traditional "front desk" so to speak. You have to go to the restaurant a couple doors down and have someone let you in. They'll give you the door and wifi codes show you the room and you're all set!! The room was as advertised, a double with a nice large bathroom. I didn't spend much time in the room...

Quaint real old time Europe

by Ralph B on 01 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We loved this little place with an interesting breakfast every morning that included mimosa or plain champagne. Our room looked out on Rue McAuliffe named for the American general of the 101st Airborne that told the Nazis "Nuts" when ordered to surrender, the room was kept very clean with a super friendly staff. There was a nice restaurant on the main floor that was excellent.

Accomodating Staff

by Anne D on 13 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

My husband and I traveled with a 1 year old and the staff had a crib waiting for us before we even requested it. The room was clean and had adequate space, even if there was a little delay on account of the hotel staff also working the restaurant next door. The restaurant itself (in the train car building below the hotel) was a showpiece of the downtown area with a delicious and gourmet menu, although it was probably a little upscale for a squirmy (and loud) baby. If you're looking for someth...

Ok Hotel in the center of the city

by Huhner on 23 Aug 2016 (Family Traveller)

Hotel Leo is right downtown Bastogne. Close to shopping, tourist locations and dining. The hotel is somewhat of a B&B meaning they don't really have a desk person working the front desk at all times. Which is fine if you know that ahead of time. The didn't have my Hotels.com reservation which is not their issue, but they would match my pricing from that site. Room was large, had air conditioning and had a nice European breakfast included. We chose this hotel from the ratings on TripAdvisor...

Monday and Tuesday July 11 and 12, 2016

by ChamL on 15 Jul 2016 (Couple Traveller)

I usually give positive reviews and the hotel the benefit of a doubt when there are issues but in this case I do not felt like we were dealt with in good faith. My wife and I almost always prefer to stay at hotels in the historic center of a city or town. You give-up some amenities like space but they are usually better for walking around, enjoying restaurants etc. That is what we thought we had when we booked this hotel. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told our booking was not at the hist...
