Good but not well connected to the Messe

by Serfun on 07 Sep 2016 (Business Traveller)

Good hotel in a very quite area. Hotel is clean, kind employees. Wifi is fast. We get rooms renew, so good furnishing and new bathroom. Breakfast is well equipped. The Hotel has also space for meetings. Only couple of negative. No cappuccino. "you can have it on reception floor" !?! By paying it. As Italian I'm very "economic" as "breakfaster". Cappuccino e croissant... No big matter but considering the general good approach and quality of the buffet, you expect the cappuccino as part of ...

Not good, not bad, nothing special

by Tessavanweelie on 06 May 2016 (Business Traveller)

The good things, the breakfast and the mattress. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Room and the hotel is very uninspiring and boring. Had a double and the size was ok. The single room is extremely small. TV has only German channels, wifi was poor that was a nuisance. It was very noisy, thin walls, and wooden floors throughout the whole hotel. You hear quite some street noise and I was unlucky with neighbors, they woke me up a couple of times during the night. No ac, no fridge, no safe, no "do ...

Very nice area

by Chris G on 29 Mar 2016 (Family Traveller)

This hotel is on the outskirts of Berlin, near Potsdam, in a very pleasant upmarket area. You need to take a bus and train to the centre, but a day ticket is only €7. The hotel is a converted college with big rooms and high ceilings, with a slight religious leaning, like a chapel in the garden. The modern extension houses the restaurant where the breakfast was astoundingly good. To be this close to the centre of a major city and woken by birdsong is great.

Stayed here for more than a week for a training and it's a lovely place. It's quite far out from the city centre - about an hour - but well connected through buses and trains. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and also shows and demonstrates inclusiveness by having disable people working. The rooms are cosy and well supplied. Internet cable and other necessities are available. Has a good breakfast lay out. It's perfect for families as it is in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Fee restaurant...

Nothing special

by arianna47 on 13 Apr 2015 (Business Traveller)

Stayed in this hotel as it was booked for me on a business trip. i was staying in room 'Jerusalem', all rooms seem to have names from the bible. The room itself was quite small, a small bed with a very small blanket, and overall very basic, no decoration, no personal note...somehow it felt more like a monk's cubicle... Breakfast is ok, it offers some choice. The location is a nice residential area, but far away from anything that Berlin offers. You need to take one or even two buses to reach th...
