Good place in the heart of Satara

We booked this hotel for our visit to Kaas Plateau.
The staff was polite and cooperative to the heavy rush during the Kaas season.
The room was clean and decent.
The hotel is located in the prime area where all restaurants and amenities are located
Not a family place

I booked this place for 2 rooms and they didn't have booking from MMT. It took 30 mins to fix the issue. The hotel entrance is not so nice and doesn't give a good/safe feeling. This is surely not a family place. If you are alone and want to spend a night - try this out else there are many options in Satara.
Only for single travellers - that too with caveats

It is not a family type hotel. It is a good no frills hotel if you are traveling with friends and just want to lay down for a night. One star less because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant so you will have to find one in the city but being in the heart of the city it is closer to many restaurants where you can just walk.
A cheap and good place to stay in Satara

Our group of 4 (2 boys and 2 girls) stayed in this hotel this last Saturday and we found it a hassle free experience. We had booked two rooms (with A/C which cost us a mere $27 per room). Check in was easy, the room was prepared and appeared clean. The mattress was firm and after a tiring day I found myself falling asleep right away. On asking, we were provided towels and sheets (some of us wanted to use the sheets instead of the blankets). The hot water faucet takes a bit of time to heat up but...
