Nice and neat near Pankow
by Tim K on 18 Apr 2016 (Business Traveller)
Travelling for business and this hotel was came recommended due to location of meetings. The Sedes is a little out of the city and approx. 10 mins walk from the nearest trams and 15 mins brisk walk from Pankow station. At first the hotel doesn't appear to offer much... For example, no air conditioning in the room, no bar fridge, clock/radio, iron or lockable safe. Looking beyond this, the Sedes offers good value for the business traveller who really doesn't need all the 'extras'. The staff are...
Great service, super breakfast, super friendly staff!
by Herman0705 on 08 Jun 2015 (Family Traveller)
We spend 2 nights in this hotel. First of the lady at the desk was super nice when we checked in. The room was really nice and big. There where 3 beds and the bathroom was perfect. We woke up at 12:30 and went downstairs and talked a little with the frontdesk staff. They asked if we wanted breakfast and she made it at 13:00 pm. The breakfast was great also the next morning. The room is really clean which makes it nice. To reach the city center you can walk to the streettram for about 10 minutes. ...
Great value for the money, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet
by Marcel S on 28 Apr 2015 (Business Traveller)
We stayed there for 9 days while in Berlin, and the hotel provides excellent value for the money! It is pp 15 minutes north from the city core by tram or subway, located in the Pankov district on the prenzlauer Promenade. We selected the hotel as it was within walking distance of our location of doing business. The hotel is not fancy, and the rooms are basic, but it is clean, relatively new, with good facilities and God beds. The noise from. The busy prenzlauer promenade may be considered an ...
I´m suprised how good they do they job
by Leppis2012 on 10 Feb 2013 (Family Traveller)
I was on "pitstop" on way to tegel here. I was looking for place thats cheap, i can get easily to city with public, baby bed (free) and have a parkingplace (free). And they have that all, and over that there is wery nice and friendly (helpful!) staff. Breakfast was typical german but wery good for that price. Rooms were not the "last edition" but tehy have good comfortable beds, flat-tv and clean. Over all that hotel was clean. to the tram its about 3 min walk, then to alexander platz its ...
Clean but Small Rooms
by bangemsmurf on 03 Jun 2008 (Friends Traveller)
A Small Hotel hidden away in what appears to be the beginning of the industrial area just outside of Berlin. The rooms were small but quite clean and capable of lodging my friend and i for the 2 nights stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and great at pointing out options for travel to the downtown core and where local night life can be found. Only 10-15 minute walk and you can reach a nice area with good restaurants and night life, but to reach the tourist area downtown, you'd be look...
