Wonderful and relaxed stay in Manado

by Sukardi1901 on 23 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

We stayed in Mercure Manado for christmas 2016 and we really had a fantastic experience of welcome and guest service. We were met on arrival at the airport by a very kind driver with a cool flannel and water. The welcome continued on arrival at the hotel by a lovely reception team. We stayed in a new room with a beautiful view facing the ocean. The pool in the middle of the resort is exceptional, well designed for kids safety too. Pool and grounds are well maintained. DIVING IN BUNAKEN IS JUST ...

Huge hotel, nice and close to the beach

by Nohero_23 on 20 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

Great hotel near the beach with large swimming pool. Even though the building were lack of maintenance, old and shady but overall was good, great breakfast, safe and very close to the beach. Really nice place to stay, we were enjoyed except for few days which was very noisy because of 2 wedding parties and from some other guests with a big number of family member. Far away from Manado city but will be perfect for you who looking for quiet place and stay away from the crowded city and crazy traff...

Toller Aufenthalt

by tobiasbb on 19 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

Mercure Manado is a fantastic experience of truly loving and caring service. Don't expect perfection but what you can count on is that you are always treated as a guest. The chef of the hotel creates miracles in the kitchen, specially if you let him surprise you. The f&b manager is super helpful and the reception team is always there for you. We fell in love with Prelly the guest relation manager. The hotel itself is simple and the new rooms are modern and spacious. Diving is amazing !! Good job...

Distant Retreat

by swm123 on 06 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

I've been there before, in transit to Bunaken Island, but this time was different...much different! The name is new, just became a Mercure Hotel a year ago or so I'm told. Before that, 4 years ago I remember a much different place, less fancy fewer amenities. Now this place has been transformed into a bright place, grand pool looks refreshed and the rooms upgraded! The on-site scuba shop offers all kinds of diving and snorkelling experiences! I love diving in these waters,so much biodiversity! T...

Worst Accor property I've ever stayed at.

by shipwreck_pirate on 04 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

As an Accor Platinum card holder I've stayed at a few hotels, but nothing as bad as this place. I booked on the Accor site for an oceanview room for 4 nights. The view from the room is stunning and the hotel grounds are kept in great condition. The staff were all nice, but limited with what they could do. We checked in at 8pm on 31 December. Checkin was slow. No welcome drink. We got to the room and there was an issue with the door lock. The front desk guy managed to get it open and said...
