Hotel Shrimmaya , ujjain

I stayed for a night at this budget hotel. The hotel is quite dated and basic. So do not expect anything fancy here. The food was good, although I didn't get a chance to eat at their restaurant. The Wifi connection in my room was almost non-exhistant. The noise of traffic on the road ensured that I got sleep very late in the night. Hot water never came through the tap, in-spite of wasting (pouring away) 4 buckets. The staff then sent a bucket of hot water. Morning tea came very late as their kit...

Although the location of the hotel is in a good locality, the rooms of the hotel are not so good. The hotel does not provide basic facilities like Towel, Napkin, Soap, etc. The rooms are not properly ventilated. While resting in the room you feel like being in a market place. Noise of vehicles and people talking outside can be heard clearly in the room. Well, you can consider this hotel if you do not get a better choice during the Kumbh Mela.

This hotel has big spacious rooms with recliners, cupboard, dressing table, TV and AC. As a budget hotel, it is quite nice. However, you are expecting too much of professionalism, then yo may get disappointed. The hotel hosts a excellent hotel on the first floor. There you will get all kinds of food at a moderate price. Overall great.

Last time I visited Ujjain for a holy dip and visit some religious sites in the city. My friends recommended this hotel to me. I was really surprised by the kind of amenities and service. It was a wonderful experience for me and my family.

Last month, I have visited Ujjain and after looking great goodwill online, I decided to stay at Shrimmaya Hotel. I was very amazed with their service and ready to help approach. This was my first experience with them and in future also, I would like to stay in their hotel whenever I visit Ujjain again. Keep up the good work Shrimmaya Team
