Hotel Sobti Continental , rudrapur

Considering this should be a 4* hotel, this was absolutely disappointing! Just have al look to the pictures! Rotten pilow and blanked, rotten smell, dirty room and very dirty sanitary. I definitely do not recommend this hotel, as I am still disappointed about the poor quality!

Spots on bedsheets... Looks like not even washed for many days... Hidden the spots with the blankets. Dust on furniture. Poor service. Get connected to room service and housekeeping after many calls. When told management about this, they Gave us the cold shoulder as if they are aware of issues and they don't want to take any action on this. Now I see similar reviews and regret my decision to stay at sobti hygiene problem hotel.

We spent several days at this hotel while travelling. The staff were excellent and the food was very very good. This was a great place for us to relax from travelling around India. It gave us a chance to rest. The nearby shops were everything we needed and the train station was nearby.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights. The room as well as washroom was clean and exactly as per the photos. But the service was very sluggish. I had to wait for 15 minutes for bellboy to pick up my luggage from my car. The food served in the restaurant was good.

Hotel has spacious room but poorly maintained. Every peace of furniture inside the room was full of dust. And bedsheets, pillow cover were pretty old. Looks like it was not changed at all after previously used. Blanket were very old too. Same were the issue with cutlery used in restaurant. Reataurant has bad smell such that u don't want to eat. Even when I tried to tell front desk they ignored.like had no interest in improvement. There are ample of scope of improvements if hotel managemen...
