Hotel Sun Plaza , somnath

Nice and clean rooms, not very spacious but ok. Bathrooms are more crammed. Hot water can be the problem esp. in morning. General hygiene is good, but slow service. Restaurant is just ok. Water is hard and salty, suggest using bottled water as much possible.

the ONLY good thing about the hotel was the man at the reception named Sajjad/Sajjid.... who was extremely courteous and befitting one from hotel industry. Breakfast was terrible! Rooms were stinking.... Lift could not accommodate more than two people.

I stayed in this hotel in it's Plaza Deluxe Rooms for one night in October 2018. I along with my family members, while visiting Somnath, reached the hotel at 8 o'clock in the morning. The rooms were provided at 11:30 a.m. When we entered the rooms we saw there was used bed sheets and towels in the rooms. After complaining they changed those items. The rooms are of medium size. We were at Sun Plaza hotel Somnath on 7 th oct. 2018 till 9th oct. 2018, at 3.30 a.m. in the morning somebody was pressing call bell, myself & my wife were in the room , we called at reception , manager there was not knowing who pressed bell thrice. he said I will inquire & let u know but we had not received any feedback call from him. In the morning when we objected he was covering his men & said it was by mistake . Do they have some responsibility towards their customers ?

It’s a small hotel, more like a motel on the highway in the city. The rooms are just ok. There’s a cafe on the front side. The area has the smell of fish , which is very annoying. Not very close to the temple, have to take a taxi to go there.
