Like travelling to the belle epoque

by G2468TPAnna on 13 Jun 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We just planned to stay one night, but after arriving to the hotel we decided to prolong our stay, it was such a wonderful place! I was really impressed with all the antique details they have mantained all over the place, so that an ambience was created of the passed times that one normally can see on old photos. It was almost like a time travel :) The park which surrounds the complex spreads a wonderful air all over the place and gives a well needed shade. I have never slept in a room with a hi...

Wonderful relaxing time

by Lyn Y on 25 Sep 2015 (Couple Traveller)

The whole place is a step back in time, we went for my partners birthday treat, the hotel was just up his street, very majestic stairway, lots of interesting architecture and old fashioned tiling. The room we had was lovely for us (the only downside, the shower was leaking quite badly) , but not enough to put us off (room 140) we had a balcony which had the sun in the morning. He had a mud bath and great massage which was all done in the underneath spa which all three hotels were accessible u...

we did not stay, just used the spa facility

by janetwest on 05 Aug 2011 (Couple Traveller)

you need swimming caps, which we didn't have, but purchased for 3 euros each only 45 minute session at 15 euros, but well worth it! no shallow end, so smaller children would need to be able to swim

Bartender, when we asked for a cup of coffee, picking up the coffee cup to explain because no one spoke English and we did not speak great Spanish apparently, about hit my husband. The Manager did nothing about it. The Manager told us we were getting a room in the main hotel, but we ended up in a really rundown building with smoke smell in the hallways (and this is a health place). Even the inside of main bldg looks like it needs a facelift. Paint peeling... Baths were overcrowded and after lo...

Termas Pallarés as good as expected

by phyllissned on 29 Jul 2010 (Couple Traveller)

The last hotel suite I stayed in while visiting Spain was Gran hotel Cascada in Termas Pallares. Myself and my partner wanted a pampering and a romantic breakaway to stay away from routine job and we really found it here. We stayed in the Suit for two nights and the staff made our welcome warm through out the week we were there. Gorgeous and comfy room, lovely and outstanding breakfast, we were literally floating from our arrival to our departure it was a totally pampered journey of no kind. We...
