Take great care making a booking

by johndaycorp on 08 Nov 2016 (Solo Traveller)

Rooms are fine but don't accept rooms 301 or 302 - next to a function room and always very noisy. Breakfast is very very basic - not worth the amount Booking.Com charge. The hotel in-room information clearly states your booking includes breakfast but that is confusing. They also take the full booking price 2 weeks before you arrive and there's no cancellation policy so be very sure you need this hotel. I wouldn't use Hotel Troja again, not worth the money and I will never use booking.co...

Good hotel on the edge of the city - good transport links

by Nedbedrock on 28 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

We had a nice 3 night stay here. It has the lower prices found out of the city centre, but has the benefit of good transport into the centre. There is a tram stop right outside and a Metro station just round the corner, which has regular fast underground trains that get you to the centre of Prague, quicker than it takes to walk from most inner city hotels. We didn't eat at the restaurant, other than breakfast. Breakfast was included in the room rate. It was adequate, but not too fancy. The...

Quiet & Pleasant Hotel

by VishwasHa on 08 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

We are a couple with a four year old child. Stayed for 5 days in the family apartment. 1. Quite hotel. 2. Well connected. Tram stop is next to the hotel. Else 5 min walk to the nearest metro. 3. Friendly staff. 4. Good spread of breakfast. 5. Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. 6. Comfortable bed. 7. Well stocked in room refrigerator. 1. Shower cubicle was small. Overall ... highly recommended.

Decent Hotel Wanting To Be 4 ****

by Richard B on 04 Oct 2016 (Solo Traveller)

The hotel is located in a quiet area north of Prague and can be reached by metro (Red C Line - Kobylisy station) which is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The journey into the city is about 15 minutes and trains run every few minutes. There are a couple of tram lines that also run to the city. Be aware that the metro stops running at midnight so no late night partying in the city of you are hoping to use this mode of transport to get back. Found the hotel staff to be helpful. Good b...

Never again - Do not come here if you are travelling on business and work in the hotel room

by Steve F on 22 Sep 2016 (Business Traveller)

I arrived to a pleasant reception. Quick check in and all seemed well. However, when arriving in my room, I found NO DESK as they advertised but a small round table which is literally knee high. There is no way a person can work on his laptop this low. When I went down to complain that I had no desk and explained that all I had was a small round table, I got a smile and a shrug of the shoulders. Further to this, the door that leads onto my balcony was hanging by one hinge and doesn't close AT AL...
