Houseboat Lily Of Nageen , srinagar

Nice place to stay. Recommended for backpackers or anyone with moderate budgets. Not quite suitable for family with small kids. The food was delicious. The house boat mamager was very friendly and helpful.

I went with my husband on a vacation for about a week and we loved staying at this boat house. It was very clean, well maintained and people working there are very friendly. Food was amazing. The service offered by Nadeem and the people at boat house was very good. Nadeem was our guide in Kashmir and he showed us around Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pehalgam and Sonmarg. Our trip was awesome and people were super friendly guiding and helping us. The place we stayed for the trip was very nice and maintained well. They clean and room and make our beds every single day and one special thing here is that they do not have mordern heater for room but good classic way if keeping the rooms warm using wood fire which is something we don't find anywhere. Food served was hot and good in taste. Worth for the money we spent and one of a kind experience.

An awesomw place to stay in Nigeen lake. They were very friendly and helpful. The food provided by them was top class. The rates are very nominal and pocket friendly. The place was maintained very clean.

November end is the end of autumn and beginning of winters in Kashmir. This time around it gets quite chilly and staying in a houseboat is not really suggested. We stayed there for a night because it was our first visit to Kashmir and wanted to experience the houseboat. That being said, the stay was lovely. The feel here is very homely, with warm hosts and helpers. Ample heating arrangements were made and the food served was very tasty and simple. Would definitely recommend this place during war...
