You are going to be greeted by beautiful sights and so much pure air on this one. Setting off to Manali by road may be one of the best ideas you ever had and you are surely going to love this one. Situated at a distance of 550 kms from New Delhi, the drive to Manali is long no doubt but is fully replete with breathtaking sights to compensate! If you are taking your car, it is advisable to take the Delhi- Panipat- Ambala- Chandigarh- Roopnagar- Bilaspur- Mandi- Kullu- Manali route for its good roads and scenic views.

If you want to save up on fuel or taxi expenses, taking a bus to Manali is a good option for you. Manali is well connected to Delhi and major cities like Shimla, Dharamshala and Leh. The fare for the bus ranges from INR 500 to INR 1500 per person from Delhi, depending upon your choice between AC, Volvo or regular busses. The ride is about 15 hours long from here, again depending on the duration and number of stoppages. If shelling out a little more money doesn’t hurt you, we recommend the Volvo busses for a shorter and more comfortable ride to Manali.

Hate driving for long stretches? Hire a taxi to Manali and have the same comforts of your car or even better if you please! In case you are a roadie, there will be nothing you would love as much as the winding roads surrounded by thick greenery that lead you to Manali. It is also a good idea to take the cruiser bike out of your garage or you could rent one maybe and head to Manali for the adventure trip of a lifetime!
