  • By air

    Want to reach this wonderful city in a jiffy, don’t sweat. The nearest airport from Nainital is Pantnagar, 70 kms away from the city. With direct flights from Delhi, the city isn’t too far.
    The airport takes two hours from the main city and is well connected by taxis, buses and private cars on hire. Taxis from the airport to the city usually costs INR 1500, it is advisable to hire pre paid taxis if this is your first visit to Nainital.
    There is some good news for international tourists as well, the nearest international airport is in the capital city of Delhi, 350 km away. You can undertake a seven hour road journey from Delhi to Nainital, whilst enjoying the serene beauty.

  • By train

    If the rhythmic motion of trains interest you, hop on to the next train. The closest railway station, Kathgodam is 35 km away and takes about an hour from the main city. It is fairly easy to hire a taxi or board a bus from the station. You can also share a taxi and save on some cash or walk to the bus stand.

  • By road

    To explore and experience the winding, narrow roads of Nainital, there are a plethora of options. From private cabs to buses, everything is easily available.
    Nainital has an extensive network of roads connected to most North Indian cities. Delhi is at a distance of 310 km, with Haldwani and Dehradun at 40 km and 300 kms each. A pleasant drive awaits you to Nainital. The sloping hills, verdant greenery and kaleidoscope of colours is simply a glimpse of the city to come.
