From the weather point of view, Delhi is aptly nicknamed as ‘city of extremes’. The huge variation between the summers and winters in the city is remarkable.

During mid Summer from March to June the temperature hits as high as 45 degree c. Beware of sunburns, and cover yourself in light cotton clothes during these months. A pair of sunglasses can also be helpful to protect your eyes from the scorching UV rays.

While in Winters, in the months from December to February the temperature may fall down till 1 degree C to chill you to your bones. Winters are also accompanied with dense fog that blocks visibility. So, be sure to pack your bags with warm clothes and windcheaters will prove helpful while strolling out or on bike rides.

Monsoons, during July to September in the city is ushered with heavy downpours that might sometimes flood the highways, however the mild drizzles is quite peaceful and it makes the greenery pristine. Don't forget to carry a handy umbrella with you.
