Very good location, attractive gardens, bungalows could be better

by David W on 10 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

The location was just right, obviously very close to the Jardin Huerto del Cura, the most attractive of all Elche's palm gardens, and a short walk from the historic centre. The hotel gardens are very well kept, and the whole setting is appealing, though less appreciated in mid-winter. We were somewhat disappointed to find, as we first entered the bungalow, a damp smell. We managed to counter this by using the very effective heating system. I am not sure it is a good idea for the bungalows to be...

Delightful discovery

by Jenny F on 07 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Traveling w/o reservations, we basically dropped our finger in the center of Elche's palmeral and contacted this hotel. We knew nothing at all about the experience we were about to have. Quirky but good stay

by Matt J on 22 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

This isn't strictly speaking a 'hotel'. It's a collection of cabins around some lovely gardens. That said, it is lovely. The rooms are ok, basic but comfy bed and nice bathroom but my group booked 3 separate rooms and two of them smelled a little musty. We went to the restaurant for dinner which was a bit weird, nobody finished their food, it was a bit too 'edgy' for us and I would class myself as pretty adventurous.

Unique place to stay

by AlexHSXF on 17 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

This is not a traditional hotel but a series of well-spaced cabins set in a UNESCO world heritage site of impressive palm trees. The accommodation is relatively simple and slightly dated but clean and comfortable. The gardens make it stand out from usual hotels. Good and varied breakfast choices in poolside setting and excellent restaurant in the main building. A memorable retreat.

outstanding dinner

by SFH75x on 23 Oct 2016 (Business Traveller)

we were there as a group of eight. we had lovely tapas for starters, perfect meat as main course and desert to indulge. the wine suited the dinner very well. staff was very attentive. the interior was laid back elegance. overall my best elche dinner experience.
