average Ibis in need of some attention

by Alexinmelbourne on 20 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

This Ibis is easily in the worst condition of the 35 different Accor hotels I’ve stayed in Brazil. When I stay in an Ibis I am not expecting luxury. But I expect a clean, practically designed modern room in reasonable condition. I also expect consistency. This Ibis was well below average and definitely needs some attention. The hallway smelt of stale hot air and had a strong stench of cigarettes (even though this is a non-smoking hotel). The room fixtures and fittings were old and worn. My room...

medium to low

by jabjr2016 on 18 Nov 2016 (Business Traveller)

Very poor TV cracked, bad image, remote control only working for two functions: sound & channels Poor breakfest, few options of fruits comparing to other IBIS locations, no labeling for juices. Front desk friendly. Clean rooms.

Poor service

by Eamoraes on 25 Sep 2016 (Business Traveller)

The hotel is close to the airport and would be a good option if your flight arrives late. But if you arrive late they have no meal to offer. Besides being close to the airport they don't have any kind of transfer to there and being close the cab drivers don't like when you say you want to go to there. Next time I will try another hotel downtown.

Old Ibis

by Renato M on 23 Sep 2016 (Business Traveller)

Room was a little bit tighter than usual and I found many types ants walking around on the desk. The bathroom also need to be reworked. Staff is as good as any other Ibis hotel and they tey to help out. Do not order the natural sanduich as, on my experience, it was not super fresh. Lettuce wasnt crispy and the bread qas dull.

Good for the money

by Eli A on 29 Jul 2016 (Solo Traveller)

I booked this hotel while on a 30 hour layover to Cayenne, French Guiana and it was perfect. A short taxi ride from the airport and also the opportunity to venture into town to experience the food, culture and a little shopping. The room was comfortable and the staff was accommodating even when I showed up at 5am. I'd definitely come back if I'm back this way.
