Home from home (but in the jungle)

A really beautiful dry stone cottage, surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. The cottage was pristine and the little extra touches: tea and coffee; incense sticks; maps of the local area; even the loan of a mobile phone in case we got lost(!) meant that we could really relax and unwind in the tranquil surroundings.
Sarah and Morten were the most incredible hosts, from booking to departure. They are so knowledgeable about the local area and were always on hand to answer any questions we had a...

A unique experience in a beautiful scenery!
by Lingskov on 24 Feb 2018
A beautiful place, the ECO-cottage is stunning, clean and cosy and Sarah and Morten have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast and the dinner is delicious even the peanut butter is homemade.
The place is a small paradise, TRY IT !!! before it is too late.
Tranquility, peace and great food
by Jamie S on 15 Jan 2018 (Couple Traveller)
Indhrivanam was one of the best places we stayed at while in India. The hosts Mort and Sarah made us feel amazingly welcome. The accommodation was beautiful and so cosy at night. There was everything we needed to recover from the stress of the city. The food was a particular highlight and its all vegan. This stay has really inspired us and has left us with an amazing experience of Thekkady, my wife and I have become vegetarians from this stay. We hope to cross paths again on your travels :)

The cottage and the main house (where Sarah and Morten live) are very nice designed and built with local material. After Madurai it was little chilly in the night, but they had very warm blankets.
Sarah and Morten (and of course her dog Ashna) welcomed us very warmly and were very helpful to find the right activitie...

Home away from home

By the way: Indrivanam offers a full fledged movie library in case you get bored or stuck in the rain. Fortunately we were lucky and the next days the weather was beautiful.
The breakfast with homemade bread, vegan cheese and pickles is super delicious. If you are lucky you might even get a freshly baked cookie. :) Sarah and Morten are super...
