Restoring a major change, the Indian Railways has decided to bring back the earlier system for preparation of the second reservation charts 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of trains from stations. Due to coronavirus, the system was modified to two hours for the last few months. The new system will be implemented from 10th October.
In a statement, the national transporter said that as per the established pre-COVID period instructions, the first reservation chart was prepared at least four hours before the scheduled departure of trains.
