There are a number of islands in Goa:

1. Anjadip Island: Usually thought as a part of the state of Karnataka, this island is known for its annual feast of Our Lady of Springs held on 2 February and feast of the Chapel of St. Francis D’Assisi celebrated on 4 October.

2. Caculo Island:
This is a riverine island located in the St. Inez Creek in Panaji. A direct Dabolim to Panjim cab can be hired from the Dabolim Airport itself to reach this point.

3. Chorao Island: One of the popular islands of Goa, the Chorao Island is home to the famous Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. The Chorao village is very picturesque with small mud houses and Portuguese villas along with the Chorao church.

4. Divar Island: Another popular island, Divar also enjoys a picturesque natural beauty with the countryside dotted with pretty Portuguese villas and structures. The Bonderam festival is celebrated here during monsoons and is a huge crowd magnet.

5. St. Estevam (Juvem): Home to the St. Estevan church, a beautiful church with a lantern shaped dome. This place is rich in heritage and natural beauty.

6. Tiswadi or Ilhas de Goa
: This is a taluka in North Goa that includes the smaller islands of Chorao, Divar and Vanxim.
