Not bad, but nothing too fancy
by Magda K on 02 Jul 2016 (Business Traveller)
The hotel doesn't look very encouraging on the outside, the paint is peeling off. The reception area is also not very modern, but rooms are nice and clean, beds are really comfortable. Breakfast buffet is quite nice. The place is pretty busy as it is a complex of two hotels and a tourist guest house, so it's quite noisy outside - a lot of school groups, and as I was there during very hot days and Krakus does not have an AC, it was sometimes difficult to fall asleep with the windows open. It is ...
Almost perfect for the price
by Jakub L on 27 Jun 2015 (Friends Traveller)
I've stayed in lower-end Junior Krakus Hotel (1*), and it's almost perfect for the price. You should definitely go there only if you need to sleep and/or eat for a good price in Krakow. If you are that kind of person, I highly recommend going there. The rooms were reasonably big, the beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, but a bit outdated, and staff were friendly. Food in the restaurant was great. Well cooked and tasty. Location is okay; It's located in an industrial area, and it's not t...
This hotel is trying, trying very hard
by netbakter on 22 Jun 2015 (Business Traveller)
Let's be honest: this hotel looks like it has been converted from a student hostel or dormitory. But they are trying and trying very hard - and if you take a look at the price tag, I can say it's a very good value for the money. Location: very good. Not close to the city center but on the other hand, public transportation will take you to Old Town. Parking was included in the price. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. The bathroom is basic but clean. Wifi signal was excellent. I got a ...
It's OK, nothing special
by Lujzelotte on 21 Dec 2013 (Family Traveller)
We stayed 2 nights there. It is located in the suburb of Krakow. It is an industrial area, so don’t expect too much. You can easily reach the city centre by taxi or public transport (you pay after the time what you spent with travelling, so it is better to go by taxi). It takes 20-30 minutes. The hotel is fresh renovated, quite, clean, but nothing special. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. We did not order dinner, what was maybe a mistake. The menu was three plate and offered Polish...
Junior Krakus Hotel
by ok23 on 08 Jun 2012 (Family Traveller)
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is not wheelchair friendly the sheets had not been changed. The place was really dirty and I found it lucky when I managed to get a clean glass. The security was lovely but the reception staff were bad except the men. If I was you even though it is cheap do not stay here; when you make a complain they do not listen or help. The guests played music until late at night and the teenage guests were running through the halls screaming until 11 pm. If ...
