about jyotiba mandir

Jyotiba temple is dedicated to the deity known by the same name, who is said to be the incarnation of the Holy Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh) as well as Rishi Jamadagni. Also known as Kedareshwar, Lord Jyotiba is believed to be the ruler of the south or Dakkahancha Raja. Hence he is primarily popular in the Deccan region of India.

The present temple was built in 1730 by Ranoji Shinde. It rises above 23 m and has a pyramidal architecture.
