Kangan takes its name very seriouslyand has a bangle maker who sits in the restaurant, ready to attend to all that your wrist desires. Order your kangan (bangle), and by the time you're done with your meal, it will be ready for you! There's drama on the 18th floor of Goregaon's Westin Hotel. Dimly lit with candles all around plus low lighting, dining in the dark in a thing here. The interactive show kitchen (with a live tandoor oven) is at the heart of this very Indian restaurant. Chef Ajay Chopra pays homage to the savoury richness of traditional culinary favourites with his contemporary interpretations of the rustic North-West Frontier flavours, touched with Middle Eastern, Iranian and Afghanistani higlights; the end result is dishes like the Peshawari Paneer Tikka (gongura-stuffed cottage cheese and broccoli marinated with Peshawari spices), Tandoori Broccoli, Rajma Galouti Kebab, Murgh Handi Korma and Jhinga Khada Masala. Vegetarians will love the expanded section dedicated to them, with unique combinations like Aloo Bukhara Kofta (prune and cheese-stuffed vegetable dumplings with onion yoghurt curry) and the signature Dal Kangan. There is plenty on the menu for Jains too. Khubani Shahi Tukda just the right sweet finish to a tongue tantalising tour of the North West Frontier. A Set Menu Dinner (Veg\: Rs.1,500, Non-veg\: RS.1,800) includes appetizer, soup, main course and dessert (Kulfi Faluda). A Set menu dinner of seafood (Seafoood\: Rs.2,950) could include lobster or river sole fish or prawns. Two private dining rooms are available for larger groups. This is a dinner-only restaurant.

Needless to say this is a 5 start hotel and the services match. You have a wonderful view from the top [hotel floor]. You get the view of the city....Food is very good, more then that the variety is amazing. Sunday brunch you will enjoy a lot.
