Home to a plethora of animals, like the Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Wild Cat, Jackal, Fox and Deer, Kanha National Park is a complete treat for the lovers of fauna. Open-jeep safaris in the wild and the electrifying adventure of locating animals in their element is the essence of Kanha. The place is also famous for rescuing the Swamp Deer species which was nearing extinction.

Also the largest Tiger Reserve in central India, Kanha was established in 1955. Some other variety of animals that can be spotted at the park includes hyena, jungle cat, civets, porcupine, honey badger, sloth bear and Indian Wolf. There are three main gates for entry into the park, Kisli, Mukki and Serai.

Kanha National Park is among the most beautiful wildlife reserve in Asia and one of the best places to catch a glimpse of a tiger in India. The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha are really great.
