BAD and beyond

by NumberFiveCafe on 15 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

We couldn't see when we arrived in the dark. First rookie mistake. Phone outside reception door to call for assistance - looked like it was from the 60s. Online it advertised at about $70 was charged $105 for what was described as a now renovated new room. It might have had an attempt to be renovated but... The tiles in the bathroom wee so badly laid that the corners jutting out randomly were weapons, a faucet at ankle height in the shower was the biggest mystery (see photos), filth hand basin, ...

Nothing fancy, but clean and great hosts!

by Judy F on 06 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

Great value for $ and pet friendly! We arrived Xmas Eve at 2:00 a.m. and our room was warm and cozy. Nothing fancy, but room was clean and everything worked. Free wi-fi and very nice owners. Will definitely stay again when in town visiting relatives.

NASTY!!!

by Kelly K on 03 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

I travel frequently to Kingston to visit family, and have stayed at numerous local hotels/B&B's. This hotel is by far the worst in the area. It claims to be renovated, but the furniture, carpet and paint are all old and filthy. There were long hairs in the bath tub, the bathroom sink was clogged, the TV blinked in and out, the dial on the heater was broken, and the refrigerator shorted out and shut off too. I ended up leaving a night early, even though I'd paid, because it was so gross.

Knights Inn Kingston

Great lodging, better accommodations. Best staff I have had the enjoyment of being hosted by at an Inn. Pools frozen over. Must be nicer through the summer. There are plenty of rooms of comfortable sizes.

Spacious and gracious

The room was clean and very big. The staff were professional and went the extra mile to make sure that my stay went well. The Knights inn is well located as well, just on the main artery to get downtown Kingston. It's good value for your money.
