Lace But No Frills

by Js2828 on 03 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Stayed here with friends on New Years Eve for 2 nights. Reception is a small entrance with what looks like a serving hatch to the left with 2 miserable male receptionist (who work different shifts) We booked 3 rooms and all 3 were dirty, smelly, cramped with bad lighting and badly stained duvets & pillows. The Bathrooms were very old fashioned and needed a good scrub. Asked where the lounge was and was directed to the left of the entrance, lounge area consisted of 6 chairs ( but it did have a n...

Ok for the price

by Paul F on 23 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

We stayed for one night - us in one room (6), daughters in another (2). They seemed to gave a slightly better room with a sort of view (over the slightly boisterous pub and male urinals) as ours was an internal room with no view. Whilst not dirty or bad in any way, the rooms were tired and a little scruffy. Perfectly fine for one night at fifty euros each room, but any more would have been too much.

Don't Stay Here!

Booked a delux room for our four night stay in Bruges. Extremely rude attitude from the older gentlman on reception throughout our stay. Asked three times for new bed sheets and quilt after baby spilt milk but only one sheet arrived therefore had to sleep on bare bed and found Both quilts and matteress heavily stained. There was lots of condensation in room resulting in excessive pooling of water on floor around windows and clothes cupboard. Lots of hairs on bathroom wall and around shower. Alt...

Nice stay in Bruges

by SunflowerBrighton on 05 Dec 2016 (Friends Traveller)

Just returned from a brief visit to Bruges. Having been several times before, we thoroughly enjoyed your trip to the Christmas market in the main square. The hotel was easy to find, has a huge communal car park just underneath the area where the hotel is situated (only cost us €10.50 for about 26 hours parking) and is in a good central location for exploring the city. Hotel is clean, quiet and the rooms are spacious. Continental breakfast was pleasant too. Would recommend for a short stay.

I went to Belgium with my boyfriend over the weekend. Spent one night in Bruges and one night in Brussels. Pros: - The hotel was well located. Close to the train station - around a 14 minute walk - and as Bruges is small was walking distance to some of the main attractions. - The hotel let us store our bags behind reception after we checked out so we didn't need to lug them around Bruges. - The hotel booked a cab for us to the train station. Cons: - We asked for a double bed, got two si...
