Comfortable and quiet

by St0rm-E on 26 Jan 2017

A lovely Hotel off the sea-front. Large comfortable room with tea/coffee making facilities so who needs breakfast provided. Just buy some fruit and croissants in advance and enjoy your room. The staff are efficient and friendly. It's immaculately clean everywhere. We went out of season, so it was very quiet and reasonable, and we were able to park right outside the door. Short walk down to the prom and sea. Walk up the road for a selection of restaurants. Be aware, the i360 is closed for mainten...

Good value for money.

by Frank_B_001 on 23 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

It has been my second stay at the Langfords Hotel. I really enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere there. Staff are very kind and being helpful. All day street parking for low fares (very rare in Brighton) in front of the building is possible. The hotel is close to the Hove' seafront and it only takes a two minutes walk to the next bus stop going to Brighton' city centre. Unfortunately, I had a little problem with the hot water in the bathtub (Shower head). This should be fixed soon. But,...

Nice enough for the money

by undefined on 19 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

For the price paid it was reasonable. The bathroom could do with updating and it was unfortunate that I could hear another guests loud TV to all hours of the morning. Bed was comfortable enough and the staff were friendly. The common rooms were comfortable and well decorated, I feel they could put this much effort in with the rooms.

Not the best of hotels, avoid

by Largehairy on 15 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

Central heating wasn't working, room cold, tried to ask lady at reception but she didn't bother to help and said use the dial which I already did. Could hear full length conversations and Intimacy in the room next door, when I ran bath water it wasn't clear, as well as shaving hair and pubic hair in the bath from last occupants. The only positive about the room is that the bed was comfortable. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, then I would avoid this hotel.

Great hotel, with very helpful staff. No point looking for anywhere else in Brighton or Hove!

I booked a Saturday night stay at Langfords at the last minute, and I wasn't dissapointed! Location: The hotel is situated a lovely, quiet tree-lined road a few minutes from the beach and promenade. Conveniently, I was able to park right outside. Reception: Upon arrival, I was greeted with a lovely smile by a charming receptionist. The booking-in process took only minutes to complete, and I was given clear directions to my room. The room: A double room with full en-suite facilities, wh...
