Good location, fuss free hotel

by Lutfi A on 17 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Good strategic location to Haram and amenities nearby. The buffet breakfast, lunch & dinner can be improved perhaps providing alternatives besides rice like noodles, prata/naan etc The top dining floor cannot accommodate big breakfast crowd during our visits in mid Dec 2016. Hotel management should consider when taking in booking during peak period from different nationalities group/countries.

A Very Good Experience

by baxiiii on 07 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

I visited here and stayed for a week in January 2017. I had a good experience. I came to perform Umrah with family and I was happy with the hotel overall. The rooms were decent size if you only have a double room. If you have a triple room it will be a king bed and a rollaway bed. So I would advise you to stick with double rooms. The service in the hotel was excellent and matches with the French Brand 'LE MERIDIÉN'. The hotels proximity to Al Haram was decent. It was a five minute walk to Ki...

Good location

by FM47 on 06 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

Stayed 5 nights during our Umrah trip . The plus point of staying here is the convenient location. Took us less than 5 mins walk to the Holy Kaabah. Love the room decor and the comfortable bed . The food quality and variety served however is very poor . Not the standard you expect of a 5 star hotel.

4 nights of luxury in Makkah

by Zafar S on 28 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

Very nice, comfortable & luxurious hotel at the foot steps of Haram. Spacious rooms with heavenly beds, clean & well-equipped bathroom. Coffee & tea bar is offered in the room, but creamers (powder or liquid) is not offered even upon multiple requests. Receptionist / Lobby ambassadors DO NOT speak English - very frustrating experience when guest has questions or want to discuss an important issue. Breakfast is average, but acceptable. So if you can live with lobby/reception ambassador mediocrity...

Location & Price matters

by Kausar W on 26 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

Le-Meridien is a hotel of choice for Umerah and Hajj performers because of its location which is nearer to Haram and its price. Best location hotels are in vicinity of Clock Tower. Rooms are very nice, neat, clean and specially very calm and quite without any disturbances. Free Buffet Breakfast is of excellent quality and main attraction. Negative point is its entrance & small lobby which all the time remain overcrowded.
