New Cottages
by Jane E on 06 Feb 2019 (Friends Traveller)
We stayed in this "camp" while visiting Gir National Park to see the Asiatic lions. Based on previous reviews the cottage we stayed in is brand new. There is a row of big square tents and a second row of concrete cottages the same size and shape as the tents with canvas tent-type roofs. Our cottage was lovely. Good
by Anilsinghi on 30 Dec 2018 (Couple Traveller)
It is a good property very quite and pollution free. Waiter Ravi Bundela took good care of our food menu. Neat and clean place. Stay in tents was very lively even in winters.hospitality levels are good and it is a boutique type of property.

Nice quiet setting - now the Lions Paw Hotel (lodge) - no sign of tents and plenty of building work going on (but didn't disturb).
Room fairly basic, (no safe, hairdryer etc), ineffective air conditioning, water temperature variable at best. Glass door with light outside on all night not really conducive to sleep.
Wifi only in recption, but didn't work for the entire stay.
Very good sized and clean swimmimg pool.
Food quite basic and limited options but good quality and quantity.
Very expen...

Rooms were pleasant but not clean: kettle, cups and glasses all dirty. Noisy with children late into the night as many guests not involved in early starts for Safaris, and no sound proofing between rooms - because of the cotton roof. Ongoing building ...
