You have to pay extra for many things.

Location: location is pretty good. It's near two metro undergrounds. There are plenty places to eat near by of different types of food. There are like two supermarkets near by, as well. Bus 43 has a stop nearby, also. Rooms: rooms are ok. You can hear clearly your neibors leaving or arriving their rooms. Rooms have small plasmas, but you need to pay around 9-10 £ for the remote control. Bathroom is crazy small. I had to tie the shower curtain up, because you literally get attacked by it. If you...

Location is good, amenities are poor.

This is a "hostel" but not a very user friendly hostel. There is no community kitchen. There is no community space to sit with other visitors; when traveling on a budget, word of mouth is the best advice. There are a couple of pubs nearby that have free WiFi and the food is great too!

First of all- the staff are really friendly and helpful, but the hotel sets limits for what they can do for you. The beds in our first room were so hard we had to change rooms. The room looked dirty as well, and really ugly, and the construction work right outside was extremely loud. Our new room looked much cleaner, and the matresses were much better. But come Saturday morning there was no hot water in the shower or the sink. Great location. But next time, I'll definitely go for an Airbnb, as I...

I have been to London several times and this is the worse hotel I have been to. The main building looks ok, but if you get transferred to another building, you're in trouble. If you have to book, insist on the building where you booked in, even then, give it a miss. In the building around the corner, there was no lift, so if you can't climb stairs with a bag you're in trouble. We opened the door to the room and were shocked! Something from the 1960's with a flat screen TV. The place needs a comp...

Much of what people have said is true about this hotel. Charge £10 for TV remote if your a student. Ours was free when we asked at reception. No plug in sink that is in the smallest bathroom in the world. Caravan bathrooms have more room lol. You so have to pick 4 items of a piece of paper that is cereal or yoghurt , toast chocolate chip muffin or croissant and orange or tea / coffee or pay £4 for 1 egg 1 bacon 1 sausage and a spoon full of beans. There is two buildings to the same hotel. Make ...
