Very nice Hotel with charming owner/personnel

by undefined on 15 Aug 2015 (Family Traveller)

We stayed in Hotel Lutia for two nights to visit Marseille with my wife and son (1.5 years). We were very warmly welcome by the owner of the hotel, who gave us a lot of good tips what we should visit/where to eat, and did everything to make our stay as pleasent as possible. Rooms are really nice and very clean and functional. Will definitely come back to this hotel for our next visit to Marseille.

Good inexpensive basic hotel

by goyourownway on 22 Jul 2015 (Couple Traveller)

N43°17.041' E5°23.113' Hôtel Lutia is in a nice area with a street market in front, just of underground station Castellane, a short ride with Metro 1 or 2 from train station Gare St. Charles. From the old port, it takes a 15-minute walk. Our room number 5 in April 2015 on the second floor in the back of the hotel was basic, clean and well maintained. Including breakfast, we spent €80 per night. City centre hotels are much more expensive, but closer to the main attractions. Although in the back...

not as good as the reviews suggested

by LEJ9120 on 08 Apr 2015 (Couple Traveller)

The hallway is very tired but from first floor up it got better. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Yes, the bed was comfy and the linen crisp, but the room itself was very basic and tired. There was not even a bedside table or shelf. The tiled floor was definitely "tacky" underfoot - sorry but not one for bare feet! The en-suite was an excellent size but again, it was very basic. Free wifi was good. Having booked having looked at other reviews I was a little disappointed, but the loca...

Quite, central location

by VicM on 14 Jan 2015 (Family Traveller)

We stayed at the hotel in January 2015, 4 adults in a Quad room. We dove fro Nice to Marseile, the owner has 1 car parking stop at the side of the hotel and gave us the spot during our stay, which was very convenient. The hotel is very well priced, decor on he older side, no elevator so you have to carry bags up several flights of stairs. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable, the bathroom was also clean, a good size, water flow in shower was very good. The hotel is centrally located and...

Nice stop during honeymoon

by nulam on 04 Sep 2014

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip in france. We payed 80 euros per night and it was summer with a lot of tourists! Nice and clean room, enormous bathroom and ideal position very close to the metro station and the centre. Breakfast was perfect and the guys in reception very friendly (they offered us breakfast because of honeymoon). if we go to marseille again we will book here!
