One of the oldest temples situated in the ‘city of dreams,’ Mahalaxmi Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Mahalaxmi or the 'Goddess of Wealth.' The shrine was built around the 16th - 17th century. Goddess Laxmi is the main presiding deity of the temple while Goddess Saraswati and Kali are the other two deities who are worshipped here. Together, these three idols are known as Mahalaxmi, Mahakali, and Mahasaraswati. The temple is thronged with devotees and tourists throughout the year.

Temple is good with lot of crowd during the whole day. few steps needs to be climbed to reach the temple. And to top that it also has a view. When you step around the temple, you can see the water lashing behind the temple. beautiful.
