Good location. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

I have stayed many times in this hotel. Good location (close to metro line A). Friendly staff. Rooms are quiet. Excellent breakfast. The bar is not as cosy as in some other hotels. The standard rooms are fairly small, so if you can afford it, ask for a "privilège" room.

Lovely stay for the new year

We stayed for two nights over the new year we emailed before we arrived for a room with a nice view so when checked in we were upgraded for free to a privilege room which is a large room with lovely views of the place des jacobins the hotel was in a great location and staff were really helpful would like to say a big thanks to Sophie who recommended la chimere for new years eve and it was lovely .next time we visit lyon would stay again

Great location

Great location to visit the old town. We used the metro to go to sights and airport. Also near a street with many restaurants. When we were there they were redoing the breakfast room. Like the room decoration.

Highly recommended

The location is perfect, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms are enormous by European standards. We also appreciated the breakfast. It wasn't a large spread (bread, cheese, fruit, coffee), but in a place where eating out can be quite expensive, it's nice to be able to fuel up on some fairly tasty bits and pieces every morning. The bed was comfy, though a little firm for my taste. I'd stay here, again, just for the location.

Always a dream coming true - Lyon

by Anjali S on 30 Dec 2016

An excellent location, right in down town, each to visit any place, surrounded by shops all around, eating joints, what else would you ask for. Hotel quite cosy but rooms facing road side are small. If you are alone, its manageable but for a couple, it could be a bit cramped. Breakfast, almost same menu everyday. Could get boring if you are staying their for more than 3 days.
