Wouldn't stay here again.

by criswithcurls on 26 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

I had to stay here for a trip (a company booked) and while I am sure there are worse out there, I would never book this place again or for personal use. It's run down, shabby, and the rooms are not very clean. In my room, my tv did not work, the carpets were dirty, everything had a funny smell, the bed was as hard as a rock (though that is fairly typical in lower end Chinese hotels), and the lighting was not good. I'm sure there are worse hotels out there...but is that really the comparison mo...

Good for the price

by Antony D on 21 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

Here on business for a few days and the hotel is fine but, as others have pointed out - looking a little dated. Many staff do speak some English but, oddly, not brilliant on reception! Wi-Fi is very unreliable and often drops out - which is very annoying - but it worked most of the time. At best slow by western standards but I suspect that is due to government monitoring/control. The subway is a 20 minute walk, which is a fair trek in the cold of winter but not too bad. Taxis are everywhere in...

My preferred budget business hotel

by Chi-Ting H on 18 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

I've been told that this was THE hotel when it was first built in the 80's. All the big stars stayed here. The lobby is still lovely but some of the carpets and decorations do need some refreshing. The rooms are nice and clean - although everyone seems to smoke and the rooms usually have some residual odor. The subway is a 10 min walk away. There is a nice bar across the street and a market to pick up some fruit. There is a Starbucks and several restaurants attached to the hotel too. One nice b...

Not great, but could have been worse

by Zackf1 on 01 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

We stayed here for a couple of days before our adoption. We had breakfast in the hotel each day before we left for the day. There is a lot to choose from. Pretty good. The hotel is showing its age some, with stained carpet that has some tears in places, but everything was pretty nice. Not too bad.

over charged and not service oriented

by A G on 12 Nov 2016 (Business Traveller)

I have arrived to the hotel on Oct. 19th 21:30. Half an hour later I'd received a message from the flight company that my departure was forwarded so I'll have to leave the hotel and head the airport in 4 hours. So I spent my 4 hours going to dinner and sitting in the lobby. Unfortunately, although I haven't used the room at all, the hotel didn't find a place to dismiss me from the charge (1,300 CNY – about 220USD) or to charge me partially. . But that was not the end - the hotel charged me by c...
