Looking for a Michelin star experience in India? There is surely something very special about a Michelin star meal which is prepared to perfection. Here are restaurants where you can indulge in Michelin star food in India. A Michelin star is the ultimate hall-mark of fine dining.

Hakkasan, Mumbai

Hakkasan group
has Michelin-starred restaurants across the world at various locations and the Mumbai branch is a beautiful extension of the same concept. It serves contemporary Chinese cuisine, the decor is eclectic and classy at the same time and the service is just perfect. Some of the most popular dishes are the dimsums, mock duck salad, roasted silver cod and Peking duck.

Megu, Delhi

When Megu was launched in Delhi in 2012, the average Indian palate had already accepted the flavours of Japanese cuisine including the very pungent wasabi. What it brought along was a 400 plus long wine list, a crystal Buddha weighing over 500 kg and the name of one of the best Michelin-starred Japanese restaurants in New York. Megu remains a clear winner with an opulent setting and an equally delicious menu. Some of the finest preparations at Megu are yellowtail carpaccio, Wagyu beef steak and shrimp tempura.

London’s favourite Michelin-starred dimsum house, Yauatcha restaurant is equally good in India. Their translucent dimsum skins filled with a wide variety of filling is a work of art. Whether steamed or fried there is always an interplay of textures and deliciousness is guaranteed. After the famed dimsums, their desserts are equally sinful, there signature raspberry dessert is especially worth a mention.

My personal vote for Arola. A heaven where you can find incredible spanish food. Also they have one of the best (If not the unique!) Gin Clubs in this country. I'll recommend also the rice with lobster (Arroz caldoso con bogavante) and the bravas, they are from the original Sergi Arola's receipt with an incredible presentation and better taste.
