I have visited Nandhi hills with my wife when we are in Bangalore. Nandhi hills is near to chikballapur It is a nice place to visit especially in weekends. We can see amazing view from top of the hill. There are some temples on the top of the hills and weather was extremely good. We have taken few photos which came very nice with beautiful background as atmosphere is excellent due to fresh air. Please don't go corners of rocks which they kept with the board "Dangerous".

Whether was extremely pleasant!. Its simple hill with a very pretty common view. In the Nandi hills there a temple of Bull. it is a superb! and there is pond, really that pond is amazing it has lotus flowers some times in the water. I would recommend all the family and lovers to visit there.

Its heaven on earth for all nature lovers. People just dont enjoy the scenic beauty but also enjoy the ride over curvy roads to reach there. I see usually people group up and ride there in bikes to reach the mountain top. Its about 60km from bangalore takes hardly 1 and half hour, and at about height of 1455 mts above sea level. Its best sunrise and sunset point also feels amazing to walk with clouds, best viewed in the morning with clean air and pleasant breeze, also apt for photograph lovers. Getting over there at summer beats the heat and chills for sure :) It can be covered in half a day, so good for people who wanna keep some time to rest in the other half. Overall wonderful picnic spot.

A few months back we went to Nandi hills which is the most popular wekkend spots for the bangaloreans. We visited in summer and as in nandi hills the temparature is low and which makes you feel like you are suddenly in winter.It was above 1445 mts ab0ve sea level, and its is only 60 kms from Blr. The nandi temple situated on top of the hill is a thousaond year old one and it is breathtaking,Majot attractions are Amrita Samovar, tipu's drop, Nandishwara temple, and around nandi hills there are also some places to visit which you give you an awe experience....

i visited that place with my family . it was awesome i enjoyed lot there,i suggest evry one to visit that place .i saw a big nandhi statue there.it was good to see.

It's nothing but the hill/mountain... reach there early morning to see the sun rise view. It's awesome, rest apart nothing great to spend time over there...

Recently I have planned to visit nandi hills with my bunch of friends , we went there to watch sunrise... The view is pretty awesome , as it is on height , you may feel a bit cold , but you will love the place. All the basic things are available right there . The one thing which attracted me the most is the sunrise view as well as the place , and don,t forget to visit the temple near the hills . Nandi hills is 60 kms from bangalore , you can reach there by bus or from your own vechicle. Nice place to visit.

Nandi Hills is just 30 kms from BIAL airport toll gate... And it is quite a hill!!! A great place to visit either at dawn or dusk as the views are great & the breeze is amazing!!! From vantage points you can see lush green views of the plains, catch the sun & if you are high enough... Get a feeling of being blown away! These are the best parts There is nothing particular to see at Nandi Hills, though views from top are good. Given the proximity to Bangalore, there are many people here especially on the weekends. Enthusiasts who run/walk from the base camp to the hill top, cyclists making their way up & a lot of youth here. The roads are great... When u are approaching airport toll gate (coming in from Yelahanka side), you need to drive for about 6-7 kms till you hit a sign board with Nandi Hills to your left. there are several indicators so you wont get lost even before sunrise... I went there at about 6 am today & was on top within 10 mins of dawn... Visited March 2014

I love this place a lot. Quiet and beautiful. View from the top of hill is mesmerising.
