about nepali temple

Built by the King of Nepal on Lalita Ghat, Nepali Temple has been constructed in the Nepali style of architecture. The temple is sometimes referred to as 'Mini Khajuraho', given its exquisite woodwork which displays the craftsmanship of the workers. Surrounded by tamarind and peepal trees, this unique temple is visited by tourists from all over the world. Also called the Kathwala Temple, the temple is known for its magnificent woodwork, using a special wood that is termites-proof, which has been done by workers, especially brought in from Nepal. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple offers amazing views of Varanasi and the sacred River Ganga.

This is a small temple, and if you haven't been to Nepal, it is a great chance to see a Nepali Temple. It is a quiet place. It is nice to sit there and look what happens en feel part of it.
