Wonderful Family, Great Food, and a Great Spot!
by bensw0rk on 15 Aug 2018 (Couple Traveller)
We happened to meet Afzal walking through town when we arrived and we were lucky we did! Jesna and Afzal have a wonderful homestay, they made us feel so at home and welcome. They happily organized tickets for two nights at Kathakali Center, and for massages. They made our time there easy, and best of all the food was amazing! The covered rooftop sitting area was wonderful to have with the heat. The room was excellent too, very nicely decorated, clean, and modern.
To cap it off, Afzal and Niya...

It has been wonderful to be in Niya nest Homestay. It's like being at home.
The breakfasts at Niya nest are delicious!
It is very central. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, churches, the port and near some of the best sunsets.
Decent Homestay

I recently visited kochi and stayed in niya nest home stay, based on the review seen on trip advisor site.
We were warm welcomed by the owner afzal and gesna . The rooms were also decent (little bit small) and the food was good.
There was strike in kerala , and the owner helped us to drop to airport, in the same situation.

Great stay, close to centre
by 248leahr on 30 Mar 2018
We stayed here for 2 days and had a great time. The room was what we needed and really close to the centre. We booked late and the owner came and picked us up from the airport at short notice. Breakfast was really good. We also got to try a bit of tuna curry for dinner. We then went to Alleppey to go on the backwaters and the owner helped us arrange it. Over all a great experience!
A few days in Fort Kochi

Through conversations with a fellow traveller further south in Kerala, I heard of Niya Nest Homestay. The lovely family I stayed with were wonderfully accommodating as I traveled into and out of the city for short stints. I stayed multiple times with the couple and their two kids - Afzal, Jezna, Niya and Hannan - and I am grateful for their hospitality and insight into the local community. I highly recommend giving them a call and staying with them when you are in Fort Cochi!
