A MUST RESTAURANT
by DANIEL L on 03 Jun 2016 (Business Traveller)
If you want to know about the mongalian cuisine, then go to the restaurant of Ordos. Quite outstanding. You will get the best idea about the mongolian cuisine. Try the beef cooked in the lotus flower, the spree ribs and many other........Service is perfect
Conveniently located hotel
by Fotis K on 10 May 2016 (Family Traveller)
A conveniently located hotel at centre of Beijing and in walking distance from Wangfujing Street which is great for shopping. Hotel probably recently restored its rooms so you will get what you paid for. Many restaurants in the area to taste Beijing roasted duck and some western also. Only complain was the poor performance of air condition which will be problem at midsummer.
Worst business stay ever
by lauradezil on 21 Apr 2013 (Business Traveller)
Was put in this hotel by my company for tight budget reasons (598RMB/night) and due to its proximity to my workplace in BJ. Would not recommend it in a million years. I arrived after a flight from changsha at 10.30pm to discover that they had cancelled the reservation, that was after they went to get someone at spoke any English. Thank god they had some rooms available at the same rated previously negotiated by my company. Staff doesn't speak English, nothing around, no wifi , no western breakfa...
Nice surprise: competitive rates and large rooms.
by Edoardo A on 07 Apr 2013 (Family Traveller)
Although hidden and without much around it, the hotel is in a central area, 10 minutes by taxi both to the Forbidden City and Sanlitun/CBD. Rooms are brand new: large and comfortable. Staff is friendly although their English skills are limited. Considering the rates a grea stay overall.
Not Ready for Prime Time
by portagio on 21 Sep 2012 (Business Traveller)
The Hotel Ordos is a lower priced business hotel. It is probably not the best choice for an international business traveler. The staff does not communicate effectively in English, the bed are hard, the room was not clean, they do not serve Western food for breakfast and the internet access is not recommended if you use a Mac. Although affordable (under $100 a night), there are far better options available. Would not recommend . . .
