Convenient hotel near Dotonbori and Horie
by Anthony_Chow on 05 Apr 2016 (Couple Traveller)
Budget hotel within 400m from Dotonbori and Shinsabashi. The hotel is a bit old but very clean. Room is quite large compared in Japanese standard. Hotel staffs are polite and there is free wifi. It's around 15 mins walk from Nanba station which is connected by train. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Horie and Amemura are within 10 mins walking distance.

Its across the main road that you need to cross before you can access the main areas of dotonburi. So if you are coming from the subway, look for Cross Hotel, then look across the main road, there is a small alley/road. Thats the road where this hotel is located. The rooms are not big, slightly small, with the toilet really really small. The bathtub requires a significant step up or step down, so watch out. Toilets are the typical all dull yellow color, very drab. Beds are ok, although it ...
Budget hotel close to Dotonbori
by Nadia S on 12 Dec 2015 (Couple Traveller)
I got off from Namba station and asked for the direction to the hotel at Visitor Information Center. The information center give us a copy of map and it really helpful since the hotel located in narrow street with many turns. It took just a few minutes walk from the Glico Running Man at Dotonbori. The hotel's signboard is in Japanese only. The building was a bit old and room was small but clean. There's a lot of restaurant and shops near the hotel.
Nice budget hotel near downtown
by PaulineChong on 18 Nov 2015
Location is very good near Dotonburi. Hotel room is a little old but kept very clean. Provides all amenities I need except that when I requested for an extra pillow, they said no. I stayed there for 6 nights and nothing to complain. Hotel staff are nice and can understand basic English.
Worst hotel in my life
by Helena S on 24 Oct 2015 (Solo Traveller)
Don't know where to start describing this hotel. Bad smells, mold in the bathroom, horrible sheets also unhelpful staffs. I complained about disgusting smell. They said no smell. Rooms full, can not change the room. I am not a picky person, the smell was really bad. Could not sleep there had to move to another hotel. I paid $180/night. What a waste. Seriously, the worst hotel ever!
