Yummy

Located on the main market road, this small café is always abuzz with monks and tourists alike. It has always been popular but off late, the standards have been slipping. The one thing that remains consistent is the thendruk, a noodle dish prepared with broad noodles, vegetables, tofu, eggs and cheese. All the dishes are vegetarian and include Tibetan favourites. You can surf on the internet using the free Wi-Fi internet available here as you sip a cup of coffee (which usually has added cinnamon or chocolate) and have a slice of homemade cake. The momos are delicious and fresh, as is the spinach cheese phing. It is pretty small place though, so be ready to share your table with others.

Unique Treat for Tea Lovers

It's a must try for people who love to have different types of Chai. Ginger and honey tea are must try. Also, mixed fruit and chocolate banana pancakes are awesome.
