Oasis of Calm with Stunning Views and Fantastic Service

by yycyycyyc on 26 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

If you want somewhere to relax, enjoy wonderful views across the arm of Lago Nahuel Haupi to mountains while enjoying your fabulous breakfast, Petit Peninsula is it. For breakfast there is a buffet with juices, yoghurts, fruit, sweet and savory pastries, and a special cooked item that changes each day. Dinners are great as well, pumpkin soup, trucha (trout) pasta and chicken dishes were lovely. The wine selection is small -- we tried the Torrontes and Azul Malbec (on different evenings!) -- both...

A little piece of heaven on earth

by PJY2013 on 24 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Forget the 5 star hotels on offer..If you want real welcome, stunning views, gorgeous breakfasts and 'real ' people looking after you during your stay, look no further than Peninsula Petit Hotel. The private view over the lake cannot be priced and the kindness of the owners simply makes you feel at home. The hotel has private access to a small lake beach and the kayak is at your disposal if you agree it with the owner. Breakfasts offer freshly prepared pastries, eggs, bacon, delicious hot chocol...

Quiet, peaceful setting with great proprietors

by Larry v on 19 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

If you want a quiet and beautiful stay, with a really great breakfast, head out toward Llao Llao and find the Peninsula Petite Hotel. The rooms are comfortable, with big beds and beautiful views of the lake, with is within 300 meters of the hotel (down a hill). The locale is peaceful, being outside the hustle and bustle of city by 30 Kms. Pablo, the proprietor, cooks up a wonderful breakfast, not found anywhere else in Argentina, except the five star and very expensive hotels. A real genuine t...

Amazing value for luxury accommodations

by Steve C on 17 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We loved staying at this hotel for three nights... and especially for the superb breakfasts. Paul is an amazing chef. The arrangement of tiny homemade pastries, cereals, yoghurts, etc is almost too pretty to invade but we did. Egg dishes are prepared for those who want them. You are forced to view the view of lake and mountains. Truly a wonderful experience. Of course the view from every room is spectacular and our king size bed was very comfortable. We are so glad we chose Peninsula Peti...

Highly recommend

by jlgIL on 15 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

This is a fantastic place to stay. The hosts/owners were really friendly and helpful. I had forgotten to pack an adaptor. The owner lent me his personal iphone plug to resolve the problem and we traded it back and forth daily for the 3 days of my visit. The food was consistently really good. Breakast, dinner, and Tea Room empanadas - all were delicious, as was the house white wine. Prices were definitely reasonable for the quality too. Only thing to note on food - the restaurant, at least d...
