Quarantine, testing and state guidelines

Andaman and Nicobar Islands

E-pass/Registration:
Not required

COVID-19 test:
- All incoming passengers must carry a COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test report. The test should be conducted within 48 hours.
- Partially vaccinated/Unvaccinated travellers and symptomatic passengers regardless of their vaccination status will undergo a RAT/RT-PCR test on arrival, free of cost. Travellers who test positive will be sent for institutional quarantine for further treatment.
- Travellers who are fully vaccinated (two doses) and 15 days have passed after receiving the second dose will be exempted from carrying the pre-departure RT-PCR test report as well as on-arrival testing. These passengers must carry their vaccination certificate and the ID/document mentioned in their certificate for verification.

Quarantine rules:
All passengers will undergo mandatory home or institutional quarantine till the results of their COVID-19 test are declared. Passengers who test positive will be sent for further treatment.

Andhra Pradesh

DOMESTIC ARRIVALS

E-pass/Registration:
- All passengers are required to register themselves on the Spandana website
- All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.

COVID-19 test:
Not required

Quarantine rules:
No mandatory quarantine

INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS

E-pass/Registration:
All incoming international passengers must register on the Air Suvidha portal at least 72 hours before the scheduled arrival.

COVID-19 test:
- All international travellers must carry a COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test report conducted 72 hours prior to arrival into the country. The report should be uploaded on the Air Suvidha portal.
- International travellers will be subject to COVID-19 testing basis the destination they are arriving from. Please refer to the International section for complete information.

Quarantine rules:
- Symptomatic passengers will undergo institutional quarantine.
- International travellers will be subject to testing and home/institutional quarantine basis the destination they are arriving from. Please refer to the International section for complete information.

Arunachal Pradesh

E-pass/Registration:
Aarogya Setu app is mandatory for all visitors including tourists, tour guides and drivers.

COVID-19 test:
- Only fully vaccinated tourists will be allowed to enter the state.
- All travellers entering the state must carry a valid COVID-19 negative test report (RT-PCR/TrueNat/CBNAAT) taken not later than 72 hours prior to the date of arrival. Travellers without these reports will undergo a Rapid Antigen Test on arrival into the state. Travellers will be subject to quarantine basis their test results.
- Important: State travel guidelines are subject to change on short notice. Travellers are advised to recheck the entry and RT-PCR requirements with the airline to avoid inconvenience.

Quarantine rules:
No mandatory quarantine

Additional guidelines:
- Tourists require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Arunachal Pradesh. All visitors will need to provide four other additional documents, including tour itineraries and vehicle details, COVID-19 test report/vaccination certificate , tour booking slips, and details of the guide and driver.
- All tourists, accompanying drivers and guides from outside the state should adhere to the COVID-19 inter-state traveller testing protocol issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Arunachal Pradesh.

Assam

E-pass/Registration:
Not Required

COVID-19 test:
- All passengers arriving in Assam will have to mandatorily undergo a self-paid RT-PCR test on arrival, at the airport. Vaccinated passengers will be exempted from this rule if they have a valid vaccination certificate.
- There will be no exemptions for unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or symptomatic vaccinated passengers. They will have to undergo mandatory RT-PCR testing on arrival into the state, at their own expense.

Bihar

Note: State guidelines are dynamic and subject to change on short notice. Travellers are advised to recheck the entry and RT-PCR requirements with their respective airlines to avoid any inconvenience.

COVID-19 test:
- Passengers arriving from Mumbai and Chennai at Darbhanga Airport must carry a COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test report, conducted within 72 hours.
- All travellers may be subject to random testing via Rapid Antigen Test on arrival into the state.
