Porbandar city is a seaside town of Gujarat.
The city also has a mythological association.
It is believed that Sudama, Lord Krishna's classmate resided in the city. Porbandar was thus khown as Sudamapuri.
The Kirti Mandir , Porbandar has a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi .
Jamjodhpur , shree Madhavpur Girnar Bhraman Gnyati: Community Hall at Madhvpur Ghed are near place.
There are some good hotel around to stay if you need to stay.
Overall nice experience to visit this place.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born 2 October 1869 in porbandar a coastal town on the Kathiawar Peninsula and then part of the small princely state of Porbandar in the Kathiawar Agency of the British Indian Empire.
