Fantastic hotek

by Kate H on 29 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Friendly male at the desk checked us in swiftly and was able to tell us information about where restaurants and bars nearby were! Room was spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and check out being 12 was perfect so we could spend a few extra hours there. Overall really good. Only thing I would say is breakfast being £10 seems quite a lot if you opted for this.

Rude waiter

Stayed here at the end of January just a weekend away. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Parking was accessible in the hotel but quite overpriced. The main issue was when we went down for breakfast my partner asked one of the staff if there was any sauces to go with breakfast to then have the man working to shout "I only have two hands, hang on". Cheap and cheerful

by R19ckp on 28 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Reason for a 3 is first room sent to was a single not a double and the noise in the room was loud from other rooms i.e. Hearing people on the toilet on the upper floor and a delivery vehicle outside at 4am with engine running . Other than that for the price a real bargain

Spot On

No frills, cheap, but exceptionally comfortable beds, good food for breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. We couldn't fault it. Great location, close to Princes Street and the Castle. We will be back.

Weekend here mid January

by johns1509 on 24 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Stayed here for a weekend 13th January-16th. Booked it as a xmas present for girlfriend as we'd never been to Scotland. Location is good as tram stop across the road. A day ticket will cost you £4 so extremely good value. Hotel basic but clean with everything we needed! Staff were very friendly at reception. The city itself is pretty expensive for food and drinks so take plenty of money. The castle was expensive to visit too at £36.50 for the 2 of us. Overall though I would be happy to stay at t...
