The Indian Railways has announced diversion of several trains due to work related to yard remodeling. Along with this, there’s a revision in timings of more than 80 trains and cancellation of many trains.

1. Diversion of Avadh Assam and Jammu Tawi special trains
Indian Railways has made an important announcement regarding Jammu Tawi and Avadh Assam special trains. These trains will be diverted due to yard remodeling work at Shahjahanpur Yard in the Moradabad Division of Northern Railway.
Train no. 05910 Lalgarh–Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Special will run via Ghaziabad–Kanpur–Lucknow in place of its scheduled route on 24th and 27th July. Train no. 02588 Jammu Tawi–Gorakhpur Special will run via Saharanpur–Ghaziabad–Kanpur Central–Lucknow on 24th and 27th July.

2. Timings revised for more than 80 trains
The South Central Railways is restoring 80 unreserved express trains with new timings to fulfill the travel demands of passengers. These trains cover some very important and busy routes such as Vijayawada–Gudur, Hyderabad–Purna, Chittapur–Secunderabad, etc.

3. Cancellation of trains
Due to block related to maintenance work and yard remodelling at Shahjahanpur Yard in the Moradabad Division of Northern Railway from 22nd July to 28th July, many trains will remain cancelled. The affected trains cover some of the major routes such as Lucknow–Chandigarh, Varanasi–Dehradun, Manduadih–New Delhi, etc.
