Very helpfull and very good value

by Fam_van_Waesberghe on 28 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Only 15 metres from the metro station in a very nice neighbourhood with everything you need in the vicinity. Your between Parisians not between tourists here. We found that very nice. The lady from reception (owner?) was very helpfull and always friendly. The rooms are small but tidy. Good value for what you get.

Functional Value

by Harmanator on 16 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We booked this hotel as a cheap overnight stay having cycled London-to-Paris in 24hrs and only had 24 hrs in Paris so didn't want to spend too much on accommodation. Whilst the hotel decor is a little tired and appears shabby in places, the hotel is still very functional, the bedroom was cosy but adequate, the bathroom small but shower ok, the decor dated but clean. The hotel proprietor was very friendly and helpful as she let us store our bikes in our room overnight and then made space on a fir...

A little dirty and small - but for the price and location not terrible

by VixonJoyce on 09 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

You can't just walk in the door, you have to buzz and be let in when entering the building. When you arrive there is a tax to pay per person per night (0,99 euros I think). Our room was on the top floor (I couldn't see a lift) which wasn't a problem for us. The room itself was pretty small but quite nice. The bathroom was again tiny, the height adjustment on the shower didn't work and the towels were holey and old (and I thought stained at one point looked orange but didn't know (bleach maybe i ...

Avoid if at all possible - shabby and needs updating

by DanAdventure on 30 May 2016 (Friends Traveller)

We were greeted very warmly at reception, however it went down hill from there. We booked two rooms, for one night. We were allocated rooms facing the street - warning here - it gets very noisy at night. Further, they do not have any AC which means you've got to choose between being too warm or having all the noise from traffic. in Paris at this time it was very warm, we had to purchase earplugs that allowed us to have our windows open. The hotel is very overpriced for its current state, we ha...

Worst hotel I've ever been in

by ryanfromearth on 02 Oct 2015 (Couple Traveller)

I'm so sorry to ever have set foot in this place. I can handle an old run down hotel, but this place shocked me. The room smelled like a sewer. I wish I was exaggerating so I could forget the smell. There was a large patch of mold in the corner by the window. There was dry white stains on the comforter. One of the lamps had no bulb, and they had no extra. It was so nauseating we left, already having paid 3 nights in advance. $150 down the drain, but you couldn't pay me to go back. Non-r...
