Lovely Riad, great staff, quiet location

by Ian O on 28 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Choose this Riad as limited options with Avios (airmiles). I'm so glad we did. It is up a quiet little street and is beautiful inside and has a lovely private roof terrace. We stayed 5 nights and the staff Hassan and Abdul couldn't have been more helpful. They both spoke excellent English enabling us to book all our trips before hand. The room was clean and the shower was good with plenty of hot water. We did eat one evening in the riad and the food was good traditional home cooked food. We did p...

Exceeded my expectations

by undefined on 23 Nov 2016 (Solo Traveller)

I ended up flying in to Marrakesh a day early and the hotel that had been booked for me was full so I found this Riad in the Medina and stayed one night. I enjoyed it so much I wish I had stayed there for the whole week! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Riad was clean and had a lot of cool "public areas" to hang out including a gorgeous rooftop. It included breakfast which was also great. My room and bathroom were clean and the bed very comfortable. It is on the other side...

Lovely Riad in the Medina

by NickB1886 on 18 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

This is a lovely old Riad in the Medina, about a ten minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square and all the other main sights/attractions (Palaces, Mosques, etc). The welcome from the staff, particularly Hassan, was great. We were given Moroccan tea and pastries whilst we checked in. They could not do enough for us and Hassan was so helpful, giving us hints and tips of where to go and places to see as well as calling and sorting a transport issue. Riad Jonan is actually two Riad’s joined together. As ...

Mixed bag

by Guillaume189 on 12 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We went there for four nights last week. Some good points but also points to improve. Good points: * Traditional Riad, pretty * Breakfast can be served inside or upstairs * Owner and staff would answer any questions you might have * We got upgraded to the Zagoura room Bad points: * Breakfast is hit or miss. The second morning it came quit dry and burnt, and last day we had a paint au chocolat with a tiny piece of chocolat. The orange juice though is good and fresh, and the homemade cake is good...

Peaceful friendly Riad

by Lynda G on 02 Nov 2016 (Friends Traveller)

Lovely little Riad in a brilliant location. The excellent manager Hasan and his staff were so friendly and helpful. We aranged 2 trips directly through them, one to the waterfall in The Atlas mountains and the other a Desert camel safari... both excellent value for money. Hasan also booked a traditional hammam (body scrub and massage) divine !!.
