Fantastic Riad

by Pietro S on 07 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

Il started like a night in a room, it becomes like a family. We were in two friends travelling Marocco. we found a really kind team working in the road, that made a lot to help us, suggested always the best and had a lot of fun together. Perfect for fiends, couples, lonely travelers (I suggest to ask for the last floor-with the highest roof of the Medina to see the city). Price really cheap, rooms clean and bathroom with a good shower. We spent 4 magic days in Marrakech!

It's not the place to stay.

I stayed 2 nights. First night i booked a room in a booking. But when i came they told different price - 2 times more. Finally i argued for usual price. Second, wifi - really bad. It works only in the hall but actually they live there in the hall and you don't feel comfortable there at all. Good: - Veeeery friendly and helpfull, kind manager but also the rest of people from there, and also speak english good. - 3 min from central medina..excelent location! - low price Not good: - noise..not so isolated rooms. - not clean..but it's different by rooms, some are acceptable, but some are really bad, like bath of 14, room where also wifi not work. With some much more clean..would be a very good place!

In the heart of the Medina

When you enter the hostal, you can see a lot of carpets. It's a colorful hostal. It seems like if a family are living there because you can find some local children around. The breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable. We stay there one night after missing a flight, and it was ok. All you need for a energizing rest.

Friendly family run hotel.

Family run, and everyone very friendly and helpful! Even loaned me an umbrella on the night that it rained(and boy did it rain!). Very economical, room basic but adequate, had everything I needed. Hotel has seen better days but still has it's beautiful features. It was a 5 minute walk to the main square which for me was a real bonus, through the souk, unfortunately if returning in the dark everything closed, so no lights and the last turn a little spooky....but absolutely no problems whatsoeve...
