An Oasis in a bustling city

by travelingypsy0217 on 23 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

My husband and I absolutely loved this riad. It was so nice to have such a quiet place to relax. They served wine and beer which was very welcome in a place where alcohol can be hard to find. The breakfast was delicious and we had dinner one night too and it was good too. The staff was very attentive and helpful with transportation and directions etc.

A Hidden Treasure of the Marrakech Madina

by Oliver H on 20 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Myself and my partner Rachel have just returned back to the UK after our 6 night stay at Riad La Porte Rouge. If you have come as far as considering a stay at a Riad then I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed with your stay. I would, as others have, recommend the transfer to the Riad. We Came here for my 40th birthday in January 2016 and the riad is amazing. Staff all very helpful and food lovely. The driver was also very helpful and kind, my daughter even named her stuffed toy camel after him! Great place to stay, would definitely stay again.

Amazing staff made our stay wonderful!

We stayed three nights at this lovely riad in November. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Our flight was delayed by several hours and we were starving when we finally arrived at 9pm. Mustafa made us a wonderful dinner and even accommodated our dietary restrictions (we are vegetarian). The breakfast each morning on the terrace was delicious! The riad itself is really lovely and the common areas and terrace are nice places to take a break from exploring the city. Our room was clean and co...

Nice room but felt tricked

by 101aliak on 27 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed in Riad la porte rouge as part of our honeymoon in September 2016 for 7 nights. Room: We stayed in the Al Warda room which was lovely, my husband had arranged flower petals and candles to be lit when we entered and it was really beautiful. Lovely large bathroom as well and authentic yet modern decor. Location: Walkable distance from the madina square (needs 15 minutes, and ask shop keepers for directions NOT people walking on the street as they will try and CHARGE you money for thei...
